Founded in 1981 by Captain Chad H. Grubb, B-About Sail Ministry began ministering to troubled teens in 1982.

The journey begins on Sandusky Bay, Ohio, when 10-15 passengers join Captain Chad and his crew aboard the "Journey," a 65-foot schooner, coast guard licensed as a passenger carrying vessel.
