How Do I Join CBA?

George Wood
George Wood has a degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Maine . He taught SCUBA diving and built an underwater sea chamber in the early 60's. He served in the US Navy on board a carrier and a fast attack submarine. George came to know the Lord while the serving in the Navy, and gave his first sermon as a Navy lay leader on board a fast attack submarine in the late 1960's. George has worked as a Nuclear Power Plant Consultant since the mid 70's. George and his wife, Karen, joined CBA in 1993 and attended the CBA Conference in Bradington, FL in 1994. It was at their first conference that they experienced the very special love of God's children that CBAers share, which inspired them to use their boat to transport Bibles and humanitarian aid with Pastor Marlin Simon. Presently George and Karen are landlocked in Fort Pierce, Florida, as they help their twin sons, Nic and Nathan, attain their degrees at Indian River Community College. George is finishing a long retrofit of their steel ketch so "Victory" will be ready to again be used for ministry transportation when Nic and Nathan complete their college education.
