 Marlin Simon
Marlin Simon is the founder and pastor of Spirit and Truth Ministries Church in Islamorada, Florida, which began
in January 1987.
He has a degree in Biology and Theology and held a Masters License for 35 years. Along with teaching celestial navigation in a local college since 1976, he has run charter and dive boats as well as salvage and towing operations. Other work experience includes boat building, landscaping, woodcarving, building contractor, sea turtle farming in the Cayman Islands, curator of "Theater of the Sea", and preaching the Word of God.
Through his love for boating, and over 50 years experience on the water, he has worked with ministries and projects relating to missions, teaching youth sailing, humanitarian and hurricane relief and Bible distribution on the waters of the Atlantic and Caribbean.
His hobbies have included power and sailboat racing, astronomy, motorcycles, and flying. Seeing people turn their hearts to Jesus gives him the greatest pleasure. |
